New Beginnings

Okay so since it's February, we had New Beginnings for young womens tonight. We were just told on Sunday that we would be singing a song. Great..... For you to understand this, you have to know that only like two girls in our ward actually sing. And we were only given Sunday and a little time on Monday to practice. Jeez, give us more time, people! I think it's called "Keepers of His light" and it's a really pretty song. But I was terrified and I thought we would totally butcher it. In young womens on Sunday we all listened to the song being sung on a CD, then a woman played it on the piano. Then we all stood up and started singing. I was completely amazed. Sounds actually came out of our mouths! Who saw that one coming?! But it actually turned out very well and we got a lot of compliments tonight :) YAY!!!!

Question. Why do we welcome the new Beehives in at New Beginnings? There was a girl that we 'welcomed in' that had been in young womens for almost a year. I think it's kinda silly to notice them all at the same time, after some had been in the program for a while. Oh well. It doesn't really matter.

But I am actually really excited for the new young womens value, virtue. We had a great program tonight speaking about it, and I'm glad the first Presidency added it.
